BUCK CREEK
WHITE RIVER
INFORMATION

In Fall 2013 — the debut of Water Quality Indiana, enrolled students monitored sediment load (or the amount of dirt) in Buck Creek, a tributary influenced by agriculture that flows through Muncie and Yorktown.  While the scientific data from that project has become outdated, view the three-part video series below, which outlines the restoration project completed by our community partner, FlatLand Resources, an environmental consulting firm for the Delaware County Soil & Water Conservation District, to address the sediment issue detected in this waterway.
