WHITE &
WABASH RIVERS
INFORMATION

One curricular element integral to Water Quality Indiana (WQI) is the “confluence trip,” where faculty and students locate, travel to, and document junctures downstream where waterways and/or rivers of interest meet, which is called a confluence.  The multimedia available here depict the confluence where the White River merges with the Wabash River, which is the longest river that flows throughout Indiana.  Many never see waterways as they exist downstream from them, which is the broader goal of WQI: to demonstrate that water connects us.
